The Letter of James was written by James, the brother of Jesus,
to believers who were scattered across different places due to great persecution.
He wanted to encourage them to remain faithful to Jesus even when they faced difficulties.
He taught them to trust God, ask him for wisdom, love others, and show their faith through their actions.
Most importantly, James reminds us not only to listen to God's Word but also to put it into practice in our daily lives.

As we read this letter, let's discover what the believers were going through and what James wanted to teach them.
And don't think, “Oh, this has nothing to do with me!”
Remember, God's Word is not just a story about people who lived a long time ago. It speaks to us today, too!
So, as we read the Letter of James, let's ask ourselves,
“What is God teaching me through this letter?
And how can I put his word into practice in my own life?”
