Today’s Scripture is Matthew 4:4 “

Jesus answered, “It is written in the Scripture, ‘A person does not live only by eating bread. But a person lives by everything the Lord says.”

We talked about fasting today—what it means and why people fast.

When we fast, we realize how much we depend on food! Without food, we can't survive.

God created us as physical beings who need food, but He also created us as spiritual beings who need spiritual food—the Word of God!

오늘 어린이영어예배부는 금식에 대한 이야기를 나눴어요. 금식이 무엇일까요? 사람들이 왜 금식을할까요?

우리가 금식을 할 때 우리는 우리가 얼마나 음식에 의존적인 사람들인지 깨닫게 되요. 하나님은 우리들을 지으실 때, 물질적인 존재로 그리고 영적인 존재로 만드셨어요.

음식이 없으면 우리는 살아갈 수 없지요, 마찬가지로 하나님의 말씀, 영적인 음식이 없으면 우리는 살아갈 수 없어요. 

오늘 우리는 Give up 과 Fill up 이라는 소그룹활동을 했어요. 

매일 아침, Give up 컵에서 한 strip 을 꺼내고, Fill up 컵에서 한 strip을 꺼내요. 

우리가 하루동안 포기해야 할 것, 그리고 행해야하는 한 가지를 선택해서 하루동안 잘 실천해보도록해요!
