Luke 19:34 " They said, "The Lord needs it."

Today is Palm Sunday!!! People were full of hope and excitement as they welcomed Jesus.

They waved their palm branches high in the air and even took off their cloaks to lay them on the road like a royal carpet!

They shouted, “Oh Jesus, you are our King! We welcome you! Hosanna! Please save us now!”

Colt got super excited like people around Jesus!!!

He felt so happy and so welcomed! But... he completely forgot something very important.

He forgot who he was carrying on his back! Poor little colt! The people were not cheering for you.

They were not bowing down because of you. They didn’t even really notice you. They were all looking at Jesus—the one you were carrying!

When you forget who you are carrying on your back, you might become like that little poor colt.

God has given you a special job to do!

But if you only think about yourself, and forget about Jesus—who you are carrying—what will happen? 

Jesus calls each one of us, too, because He needs us to carry something very important.

The colt’s special job was to carry Jesus and help people see Him.

And that is our job too! We carry Jesus in our lives, so that people around us can look at Jesus and know who He is!

오늘은 종려주일이었어요!!! 사람들이 예루살렘으로 입성하시는 예수님을 열렬히 환영하며 종려나무가지를 흔들었어요.

종려나무 가지는 그 시대에 기쁨과, 생명, 그리고 승리를 상징하는 잎이었어요! 

왕으로 오신 예수님을 환영하는 사람들의 환호소리가 대단했어요! 자신들의 겉옷을 벗어 길에 깔면서 예수님 앞에 절하기도 했지요.

근데, 사람들만 흥분한게 아니었어요! 사람들만큼 흥분하고 행복했던...

바로! 예수님을 등에 태우고 마치 레드카펫인냥, 사람들의 옷을 밟고 지나갔던...너무나 들떠있었던...바로...

어린나귀였지요 ^^
